This image was created for Audible.ca and was intended to be the face of their new Indigenous Writers Circle. It displays the act of speaking and storytelling with symbols of Midewewin and Algonquin peoples present. Red was used to represent Men and Blue for Women. Men carry their bloodlines and the women carry the Sacred Teachings of Water. Our oral histories have survived through us as indigenous people for many years and now is the time to share them.
